Dear Girl Scout Troop 1912,
On behalf of the residents of Sun Valley Lodge I want to thank you for the beautiful Valentine cards you created for us. I am very impressed with your artistic abilities. I have never seen so many beautiful cards at once. We will deliver the cards on Valentine’s Day to all of our assisted living residents.
Your gift is especially important because many of the elderly people who live at the Lodge do not have much contact with the outside world. Receiving correspondence from young people in the community really makes them feel good; especially when it is clear that so much care was put into making the cards!
Thank you again for thinking of our residents. Your thoughtfulness and compassion are true signs of your commitment to Girl Scouts. I wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day and good luck with your Scouting!
